ASVAB Mathematics Knowledge Practice Test
Mathematics Knowledge covers high-school math concepts: order of operations, fractions and decimals, exponents and roots, algebraic equations and inequalities, and geometry. Unlike Arithmetic Reasoning, most questions are direct math problems rather than word problems. It is one of the four AFQT subtests.

Tips for Mathematics Knowledge
- Know the order of operations (PEMDAS) cold.
- Memorize area, perimeter and volume formulas for rectangles, triangles, circles and boxes.
- Check algebra answers by plugging the choice back into the original equation.
- Practice exponent rules: multiply means add the exponents, divide means subtract them.
